  2. echo      Instructions for Installing CdIdx and the Emerald Shareware Games Disc
  3. echo.
  4. echo.
  5. echo         1.  Go to your CD-ROM drive by typing its letter and a colon. If,
  6. echo             for example, your CD-ROM drive is the S drive, type "S:" and
  7. echo             press return.
  8. echo.
  9. echo         2.  Now enter the command "setup" and press return. This will set
  10. echo             the CdIdx variables in the environment to their proper values.
  11. echo.
  12. echo         Steps 3 and 4 are optional. To avoid typing "setup" each time you 
  13. echo         want to run CdIdx, do them. Otherwise, you can type "go" now and 
  14. echo         start using CdIdx.
  15. echo.
  16. echo         3.  Type the "install" command and wait for it to ask you about
  17. echo             modifying your AUTOEXEC.BAT. Type Y if you want to make the
  18. echo             changes, N if you don't.
  19. echo.
  20. echo         4.  If you run into trouble you may need to run "msetup". This will
  21. echo             allow you to manually enter the drive letters for the boot and
  22. echo             CD-ROM drives.
  23. echo.
  24. echo         5.  Type "go" and CdIdx will start.
